Saco Bay Trails sends its deepest condolences to the family of Max Brandt, who passed away peacefully on May 10, 2022. Max was a longtime friend of Saco Bay Trails and especially Middle Goosefare Trail, which was built on his family’s former property. Max was a Renaissance man whose interests were multifold and life filled with adventure. He loved leading walks on the trail and charming his listeners with stories of his childhood there. We treasured his friendship, and value his family’s ongoing support of the trail. We will miss you, Max!
