Spring Bird Walks
Guided Spring Bird Walks with Josh Fecteau
5-part series (May 4, 11, 18, 25, and June 1) @ 7 am
Laurel Hill Cemetery, 293 Beach St., Saco
Our popular Spring Bird Walk series with naturalist Josh Fecteau is back!
Josh will guide us through the spring migration of our feathered friends once a week for five weeks, so we can experience the changing bird populations through the migration season.
We'll meet at 7 am each Thursday morning in the parking lot next to the chapel at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Laurel Hill's easy-to-walk paths, variety of native and planted trees, and view of the Saco River make it an ideal birding destination. As always, this event is free and open to the public. Be sure to bring binoculars, if you have them. Beginning birders are welcome.
Each walk will be followed by an informal Q&A session back at the parking lot.
Beginning birders are welcome! Be sure to bring along binoculars if you have a pair.
The cemetery is home to a variety of native and planted trees and the adjacent Saco River. It is an excellent destination for birders, especially in May when many species of birds are returning or migrating through.
