Saco Bay Trails Fairy House Building Day: A Magical Success!

The recent Fairy House Building Day at Cascade Falls Park in Saco, Maine, was an enchanting and resounding success! On Saturday, July 26, 2025, over 300 participants gathered to help rebuild the whimsical fairy house village, transforming natural materials into miniature marvels.

The day was filled with joy and creativity, offering a variety of activities for all ages. Families delighted in crafting their own fairy houses, making fairy wands and crowns, enjoying face painting, and even painting rocks for Ruby the Rock Snake. The event also featured hidden door discoveries, pollinator education, and magical visits from mermaids, making it a truly unforgettable summer adventure.

This wonderful day would not have been possible without the incredible support of our community. A huge thank you to the more than 40 dedicated volunteers who generously donated their time and effort to ensure everything ran smoothly. Your commitment made all the difference!
