Though this walk was delayed a few months due to COVID-19 restrictions in June and rescheduled for September 18, 2020, it was well attended and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Due to plenty of leaves still clinging to the trees, spotting the birds was more challenging this month than it would have been in June. Even so, with Josh's and participants' help we saw and/or heard many varieties, including but not limited to: northern parula, chickadee, red-tailed hawk, red-breasted nuthatch, crow, robin, chipping sparrow, cormorant, great-blue heron, great egret, bluebirds, bluejays, etc. We look forward to sponsoring another walk in the spring.
