The Ruck for the Fallen

If you’re looking for a summer adventure that will test your stamina, agility, and courage, and at the same time support a good cause, consider The Summit Project’s Ruck for the Fallen.

On August 10, 2024, hardy participants will gather at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester, Maine where they will shoulder their backpacks and set off on a 10K ruck through the woods and rolling hills of this working farm.

Upon completion of the ruck, they drop their packs and climb, slide, scramble, and splash through a challenging course of more than 20 obstacles in order to reach the finish line.

Ruck for the Fallen is run in honor of Maine’s fallen service members and Gold Star Families to provide them with the assurance that their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

The event is open to all youth and adults and participants can enter as individuals or as a team. More information and registration links can be found at www.thesummitproject.org/ruck-for-the-fallen.
