Our popular Spring Bird Walk series with naturalist Josh Fecteau is back for 2023!
Josh will guide us through the spring migration of our feathered friends once a week for five weeks (May 4, 11, 18, 25, and June 1) so that we can experience the changing bird populations through the migration season.
We'll meet at 7 am on Thursdays in the parking lot next to the chapel at Laurel Hill Cemetery at 293 Beach St., Saco.
Laurel Hill's easy-to-walk paths, variety of native and planted trees, and view of the Saco River make it an ideal birding destination. As always, this event is free and open to the public. Be sure to bring binoculars, if you have them. Beginning birders are welcome.
Each walk will be followed by an informal Q&A session back at the parking lot.
