This 100-acre wildlife preserve has a network of trails that cross diverse ecological habitats including upland softwood & hardwood forest, marsh, stream, vernal pools, bog, and evidence of a pre-historic landslide.

This short trail on the grounds of The Ecology School leads to a scenic overlook with a beautiful view of the Saco River. Trail users can link this trail to the trail network of Horton Woods via the Stone Bridge Trail to create a longer hike.

This is a mostly wooded loop with sections along fields, situated on privately owned land. The trail winds through mixed hardwood and softwood, old logging roads, and mowed farm fields.

This historic area has been popular since the late 1800s for picnicking, fishing, hiking, and viewing the falls. The network of short trails passes through a mixed pine and hardwood forest along the banks of Cascade Brook with views of Cascade Falls, a 20-foot-high Horsetail waterfall.

This area, which lies within a few feet of US Route 1, is beautiful, surprisingly quiet, and has a wide variety of land types including hardwood and softwood with Goosefare Brook running through the property.

This loop trail starts and ends on Ferry Road a few hundred yards west of Camp Ellis and features three large tupelo trees of the type normally found in southern climates. The trail passes through a mixed hardwood-softwood forest.

This trail leads walkers into the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge through the mixed hardwood and softwood forest with views of the Goosefare Brook Marsh.  The Plymouth and Vines side trails connect with two subdivisions that border the refuge.

This trail starts on the Oceanwood Camp and Conference Cente property and passes into Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge.  The trail winds through a forest of white pines, red maples, cinnamon ferns, and pitch pines, ending at an overlook of the salt marsh at Goosefare Brook.
