Who we are

We are a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization. Our goal is to acquire permanent public access to recreational hiking trails in the Saco Bay area. We work with private landowners, community and commercial organizations and government agencies. We are governed by a 12-member board of trustees and rely on volunteers for trail maintenance and administrative duties.

How can you become involved?

There are many ways you can get involved with Saco Bay Trails:

Our Vision
Saco Bay Trails envisions a permanent network of easily accessible, well-maintained, well-marked and well-known trails throughout the Saco Bay Area that are used by a wide range of people with a broad range of abilities.

Our Mission

Saco Bay Trails mission is to create and maintain this network of trails and to promote its acceptance and use by the public.
