This guide, developed with a grant from the Coastal Healthy Communities Coalition and produced by Susan Gold of Custom Communications of Biddeford, Jane Hamblen of Saco Bay Trails and Ferry Beach State Park Ranger Janet Mangion, provides a multitude of activities for children on trails around the Saco Bay area.

The book can be downloaded free on this website.

Help us improve walking and biking access in Saco
The Saco Active Community Environment Team needs your help to make the community a better place for biking and walking. The ACE team hopes to identify barriers to biking and walking. Do you wish that cars drove more slowly through downtown? Want to see more crosswalks close to local schools? Wish that sidewalks were in better shape? Please share your input by taking this short SACO ACE SURVEY. It should take no more than five minutes.
