At the very tip end of Biddeford Pool, Maine Audubon Society maintains a perimeter trail on its East Point Sanctuary. On-street parking is available for up to a half-dozen cars. The trail is short but spectacular. Walkers should be watchful for dangerously eroded embankments, which are being washed into the sea. A less obvious hazard is poison ivy, which flourishes on the point. Dogs are not permitted in the sanctuary. Please respect the rights of adjoining landowners and the Audubon Society's posted rules.
